Dr Dean Samaras is a comprehensively trained podiatric surgeon. He has completed fellowship training with the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons (ACPS) which included international preceptorships and courses in the UK & USA with renowned podiatric and orthopaedic surgeons. Dr Samaras has specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is endorsed by the Podiatry Board of Australia to prescribe scheduled medicines for conditions relating to the foot and ankle.

Dean is a resourceful and experienced practitioner and provides tailored care for each of his patients. He recognises the importance of both conservative and surgical options as part of treatment planning. He has a very practical approach and enjoys problem solving with his patients. Wherever possible he focuses on the least invasive surgical methods in order to reduce pain and encourage early return to activity and function. This approach has developed over 10 years of treating athletes, actors, farmers professional dancers, chefs, doctors, nurses, teachers, tradespeople and many others who depend on their feet.
