A common misperception is that the treatment of in grown toe nails is painful and debilitating. In fact the treatment is performed with minimal pain, the procedure is performed in our podiatrists rooms, it takes around an hour and the patient is able to walk immediately afterwards.
ORTHOTICS (FOOT ORTHOSES)
Orthotics (orthoses) are shoe inserts specifically designed to support, align or improve the function of the foot. These are designed to support the body from the foot upwards, alleviating stress on the skeletal system like, muscles, tendons and joints and generally helping us with the way we move.
Cortisone treatments are generally provided to assist with the relief of pain and inflammation in specific areas of the body. This corticosteroid medication is most commonly injected into the bodies joints such as hips, knees and ankles in conjunction with a local anaesthetic.
